Of Royal Descent too, you say?
Maybe it seems a bit fantastical but our Olive Bulkeley-Welby line (Dad) is very well documented
to Edward I, another line from William Longespee the bastard son of Henry II Curt Mantle, another from Henry III and also from the Gallic Kings. [Undisputed since 1950s, lines revised and republished in 1999 in Ancestral Roots (Weis).]
Our Barham-Filmer-Argall line (Mom) is very well documented through the College of Arms pedigrees of these families, alledgedly tracing (I am still researching this) to King David of Scotland if not to Edward I through his daughter Joan of Acre and Gilbert de Clare making Mom and Dad cousins.

There are two disputed lines to more or less the same ancestors through James Prescott of New Hampshire (Mom) and John Washburn (Dad).

Visit the Royal Site - it is beautifully done.
So our most recent ancestor King may be Edward I married at age 15 to wife Eleanor of Castile,
daughter of King Ferdinand III of Spain.
